The Institute On Governance is dedicated to promoting good
governance, which we define as the responsible and responsive
exercise of power on matters of public concern.
The IOG is a private, non-profit organization based in Ottawa,
Canada. It was founded in 1990 in order to create, share and
apply knowledge about the renewal of government and other
public sector institutions, and to address related public
policy issues in Canada and abroad.
